This article steps you through the process for accessing the Product and Price Book data objects in Salesforce.
Products represent the products and/or services that the organisation delivers to customers. Price Books allow you to easily manage the cost of products/services over the life time of their existence. When the standard price for a product is changed, a new Price Book is created to support the new cost, this ensures that your transaction history remains accurate.
