This article outlines the steps required to search for a Contact record in Salesforce from Outlook.





Click on the relevant Outlook email (via Inbox for incoming email or Sent box for sent email)

1. The Salesforce side panel searches for records with the relevant email address. If no Salesforce record exists with the email address the Salesforce side panel displays the message "No Matching Contacts or Leads in Salesforce".





Click the Search Icon

This step allows you to search for a contact record in Salesforce using criteria other than the email address.





Enter Contact Name

Click Done

The Salesforce side panel displays the relevant Contact record
